Refund/Return/Cancellation Policy

The Cancellation of any order can be done within the first 48 HOURS after the purchase was made. A cancellation fee applies - 6% of the purchase price including associated taxes (where applicable). Shipping/Freight charges are fully refunded.

 

For the cancellation of orders after 48 hours, as well as refunds and returns, please refer to "Section A" and "Section B."

 

Section A - Local Orders and purchases, and Local pick-up for web shop orders and purchases.

Cancellation of Orders:

 

1. Item(s) on Pre-Order:

Buyer Cancels Order: Cancellation of an item that is purchased as a Pre-Order has a 25% non-refundable fee. If you have paid for this item in full, the refund that is issued to you will be 75% of the items purchasing price plus the full amount for shipping fees (where shipping fees are applicable). If you placed a pre-order with the 25% Deposit fee, that fee is non-refundable but your shipping fees will be fully refunded (where shipping fees are applicable).

Store Cancels Order: A refund to the amount that was paid, including taxes that were paid at the time of purchase, will be issued to the buyer.

Refunds and Returns:

1. 1/18 Scale Models, Dioramas, and Accessories:

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
 

2. 1/64 Scale Models, Dioramas, and Accessories: 

Web Shop purchases that are received via local pick-up have 7 days receiving your item to request a return.

Local purchase via the Shop located at Unit 322 7250 Keele Street, Concord ON, have 7 days receiving your item to request a return.

 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its (undamaged) original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Section B - Online Orders/Purchases

Cancellation of Orders:

 

1. Item(s) in Stock:

Cancellation of an order for an item that is in stock is subjected to a 25% restocking fee. 

2. Item(s) on Pre-Order:

Buyer Cancels Order: Cancellation of an item that is purchased as a Pre-Order has a 25% non-refundable fee. We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@keithsmodelcars.com. Please provide pictures of your purchase when you contact us. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges involved in the return process.  Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

2. 1/64 Scale Models, Dioramas, and Accessories:

There is no refund, return or exchange for any 1/64 Scale products that have been purchased and shipped via the web shop.

 

Web Shop purchases that are local pick-up have a 7 days from the date of purchase to notify about any manufacturer defect.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
